Thanks and will do! If anything, he should be an NRA member. Really hope things work out with the NRA leadership.

Re: NRA Annual Meeting 2024 in Dallas
So couple of questions as I don't remember what I did last time. I recently renewed but have not received anything from the NRA yet (I renewed online). Will they be able to simply look me up? Also we are allowed to bring a guest right?

Re: NRA Annual Meeting 2024 in Dallas
Last time it was in Dallas, I carried both on DART and at the KBH Convention Center no issue. IIRC, when then President Trump spoke, again IIRC, carry was not allowed in the place where he was speaking as that was Secret Service controlled, but the rest of the site was OK. Same. I had no issues eit...

Re: Which is easier to Maintain, a Mini-14 or an AR15
Some personal notes from me. When I had a Mini 14 in the early to mid 90's. It was my first rifle in .223. Buddy of mine sold it to me on a good deal and I had always been infatuated with it since the days of The A-Team. It was a Stainless Steel model with the Choate folding stock. Made for a very c...

Re: Turks and Caicos- don’t visit with 4 bullets in the bottom of your luggage
I don't go anywhere that requires a passport - I don't even have one. And I can travel to the in-laws home in Iowa through reciprocity states all the way up. I didn't leave anything worth going back for anywhere. So, no. Eh... probably wouldn't go as far as saying a passport is not needed. It reall...

Re: Weapon lights on your EDC with Paul Howe
LOL! Hackathorn sure is stirring up the hornets nest of opinions lately  Although I respect him, I don't agree with him on a lot of things. Namely (and lately) his opinions on pistol mounted optics and weapons mounted lights. For PMO's, your mileage may vary. A lot of negative opinions coming f...

Re: Paul Howe Video - CSAT 100-7 Rifle Drill
Paul Howe's Pistol Standards are GREAT! They are also a part of my system, with the difference that I allow low ready starting position. I can certainly attest to Paul Howe's standards. After watching many of his video's and what you have run me through, they are solid and require sound fundamental...

Re: Paul Howe Video - CSAT 100-7 Rifle Drill
Good video, I watched it earlier in the week. I did some carbine training with Paladin this past Saturday and ran through some of Howe's standards. Some good stuff right there. I didn't make all of the standards but learned things I need to work on now. Another great Paul Howe video. I see a lot of ...

Re: Bad Gateway error
I've had the same issues in the same time range recently. Wasn't sure if it was maintenance or an outage as once I'm getting it, refreshing does not help.

Solid class, solid fundamentals, and solid value. I've taken plenty of classes and this reinforces a lot of what I've learned. If you have never taken a gun fighting class before, I would highly recommend this one.

Interested in this but weather is not looking good. Lots of rain this week and TDSA is notorious for being muddy and holding water for a while after rain. I'll message you here shortly.

Re: No place but Mexico
https://www.semafor.com/article/01/17/2024/mexico-records-most-violent-period-in-modern-history Gun free Mexico has broken another homicide record again. I was banned from gun politics on Redit for my first post there. I typed “Mexico” as an answer to a question. An anti gun person wanted another c...
