Re: Carrying at the Post Office
Well I'm a bit different here. I go to the post office at least once or twice a week mailing paperwork packets to clients and to the FAA.

Re: HPD Citizen Patrol program
I guess I don't see the problem. What would prevent you from patrolling your neighborhood without being on a "Citizen Patrol"? Does it give you any authority that you don't already have?
Don't sign anything an patrol as an independent.

I took a "razor" knife (Exacto with new blade) and cut a small chamfer all around the back edge of my "Super-Tuck".jamisjockey wrote: I made having a sweat shield a must in my holster selection because of having the pointy bits digging into my love handle.
Made a world of difference.

Re: Glass doors and home security
Be careful using security film on thermal pane glass doors. Check with the door manufacturer. They usually recommend against it and will not honor any warranty.

Re: Suggestions for a portly man
The guys at the gun shop and additional research have made me reconsider. I'm now leaning towards a Kahr P haven't settled on the 9 or the 40 yet. It is pretty thin but I really like the way it feels in my hand. It really seemed to fit. I'll keep everyone posted. I carry a Kahr P9 and am very happy...

Re: Need help with Holster(s)
I wear a Galco USA (horse hide, around $60). It allows the shirt tail to be tucked in and it conceals beautifully.
I have a Kahr P9.
The only thing that shows is a 1/4" square clip at the bottom of the belt. With a black belt even that disappears.

Re: Utah or Texas ? Or.....Both ?
$215.25 for a Utah CWP only class? Jeez. Let's see. If the instructor collects the license fee Utah ($65?) and bundles range fees with a rental gun and ammo, eye protection and hearing protection ($40), then he's charging $110.25 for his training. Actually it sounds to my like he's getting it all. ...
